Be part of the heart of PRA - the classroom.

One of the best ways to get involved as a volunteer at PRA is to help in your child's classroom.

At PRA, parents are encouraged to be engaged in their children's education. Classroom volunteers get to know the teachers and students, which helps forge a strong connection to the school.

Every Volunteer Matters

There are a variety of opportunities available throughout the year, including helping with Panther Time (individualized intervention for reading and other subjects), classroom parties, take-home projects, field trips, and other needs that come up.

Our teachers value and appreciate your help. Our communications coordinator will send out signups for classroom volunteer opportunities. Teachers also send out emails as needs arise.

From spending an hour to help first-graders with sight reading, to helping other parents plan a class party, to volunteering as a field trip chaperone, your involvement makes a difference at PRA.
