Crossing Guard
Crossing Guard Duty
- Parents help with crossing guard duty in the mornings and afternoons during drop-off and pick-up times.
- Carpool duty is assigned to one grade level for each month of the school year.
- Parents are asked to sign up for four crossing guard duty spots for each child who attends PRA.
- You will receive an email with signup details prior to the month(s) you are assigned.
- Parents are required to demonstrate understanding of the carpool duty expectations by taking an online crosswalk safety course.

At PRA, safety is always a priority.
We depend on our parent crossing guard volunteers to:
- Keep children moving safely across crosswalks to and from school.
- Keep car traffic flowing so it doesn't back up on Colorado Boulevard.
- Be a friendly presence at crosswalks for children and parents.
