Parents - following last year’s water damage claim, our broker conducted a review of several school practices, including lunchroom operations. One key finding was that student access to microwaves and hot water poses a considerable liability for PRA.

We understand how much our students enjoy their ramen and love a warm slice of pizza. However, in light of these safety concerns, we can no longer offer microwaves or hot water for student use. This change will take effect starting October 20.  To help students continue enjoying warm meals, we encourage families to pack food in insulated containers, such as thermoses or bento boxes designed to retain heat until lunchtime.
